Cardboard, LED lights, metal ball and socket bearings, cotton thread, small motor in the fan.
A monument to our intrepid explorer, The Captain. The only piece where I have tried curved folding of a large piece of cardboard to simulate waves. Makes for great shadows. The sail has become a series of solar panels (no, not real ones) that run the fan that, when there’s no wind, pushes against the solar panels and the boat goes forward!!! I wonder if this would really work, or would they cancel each other out? 🤔 Battery is in the esky.
